Frequently Asked Questions

Why do we have a new website?

The Advisory Board has decided to switch to a new website for several reasons.

  1. It cost 50% less than the previously used website.
  2. There are many more features on the new website.
  3. It will allow the Advisory Board to update information to reach the homeowners quicker.
  4. There is a feature on the new website for people to upload pictures from all of our social events.
  5. There is a feature an area for homeowners to add services so your neighbors can look within the community for local services.
  6. There is a section for homeowners to contact different committee's without having to go through the management company.
  7. There will be less money spent on mailing out newsletters to communicate with homeowners.
  8. Overall it will streamline communication within our community for half the cost of our last website.

How often does the Advisory Board Meet?

The Advisory Board has been meeting monthly since they were voted in July 2008.  The Advisory Board has been meeting monthly with the NMI since September 2008. 

How many times has the Advisory Board met with the developers?

The Advisory Board has met with the developers in December 2008, and January 2009.

Will the Advisory Board be meeting with the developers regularly?

The Advisory Board will be meeting with the developers on an as needed basis.  This is determined when the Advisory Board decides there is a need to meet with the developers to bring to their attention the concerns of the community.

What has the Advisory Board accomplished since they were formed?

  1. Met with and obtained three bids for a new Landscaping contractor for the land owned by the HOA.  This is the land around the ponds, playground areas, and the pool.  Successfully acquired a new landscaping company that is making vast improvements weekly.
  2. Met with and obtained three bids for a new pool and porter service.  Successfully acquired a new pool and porter service company. 
  3. Has been meeting monthly with NMI since September and is scheduled to do so in the future.
  4. Changed light bulbs at the amenity center to cut cost of our electricity bill.
  5. Installed new playground mulch in both playgrounds.

What improvements have been made at the park with the new landscaper?

  1. Installed new playground safe kiddi mulch in both playgrounds.
  2. The grass will be fertilized and sprayed for weed control.
  3. There will be colored flowers planted in the neglected flower beds.
  4. New mulch has been installed in all of the flower beds.
  5. All trees have been pruned and trimmed by our professional landscape company.
  6. All trees and shrubs inside the pool have also been pruned and trimmed by our professional landscape company.
  7. Several of the empty flower beds have been replaced with grass to cut down on the cost of replanting flowers every year.
  8. Erosion by the ponds has been graded and smoothed and will soon be hydramulched with new grass seed.

What improvements are being done with the Pool?

  1. There has been wrought iron added to the top of the front gate, and the half walls at the front.  This was done in an effort to keep out non-Fox Hollow residents.
  2. There has been new wire mesh installed at all three gates, and the inside door handles have been enclosed.  This will also keep non-Fox Hollow residents from entering the pool.
  3. There have been many issues fixed with regards to the pool equipment.
  4. The water in the pool has been drained, the entire pool has been cleaned and all of the black algae will be removed and the pool has will be refilled with new clean water.
  5. The entire amenity center will be cleaned prior to opening day.
  6. The light bulbs have been changed to energy efficient light bulbs.
  7. The deck drains were installed incorrectly and are now installed correctly so water build up on the deck will drain properly.

Create news for our website and send alerts to residents quickly and easily. This feature also allows registered users to submit feedback on community articles.

Library

Storing forms, documents, meeting minutes and more. Our website has instantly become a resource for a wealth of information for our community and it’s residents. Saves time and money by storing all of our association documents online.

Community Classifieds
Need a babysitter or lawncare? No problem. Our community free classifieds allows residents to post services for hire, or items for sale. This feature also allows residents to include photos, which are automatically converted to thumbnails. Resident information is automatically attached to postings.

Shared Photo Galleries

Create galleries for residents to share photos with other residents. Images are resized and uploaded on the fly into the gallery and automatically include the residents name and date that the image was uploaded.

Neighborhood Directory

Post important contact information for our community, board of directors, and committees.

Events Calendar

Post upcoming meetings and events, utilize the calendar to show association activities.

Neighborhood Polls

Get feedback from residents about important community issues. Our graphical polls are a great way to gauge the overall feeling of an association concerning neighborhood improvements, events and more. Each resident is allowed only one vote per poll.

Resident Only Access

Password protect our neighborhood. Post messages, newsletters and documents for residents only to see. Registered members can also access the shared photo galleries and instantly post classifieds as well as join community forums and add comments to news items.

Resident Forums

Create multiple forums for board members, residents, and committees.  Each forum can be customized to specify exactly which residents are allowed in each forum. You can even upload a document for discussion. What a great tool for board members, residents and committees. The ability to discuss and work online makes appproval faster and easier.

FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)

We have the ability to post answers to frequently asked questions directly on the website. This feature saves time and money. New and existing residents can easily search the database for answers to questions like, How do I contact the board? What activities are planned? and much more...
